Irish CSO Reports: Agricultural Price Indices - March 2014
Agricultural output price index down 0.9% in March 2014
The agricultural output price index decreased by 0.9% in March 2014 compared with February 2014. The agricultural input price index was down 0.1% over the same period. Thus, the resulting terms of trade index decreased by 0.8% in March 2014. See Tables 1, 2 and graph.
On an annual basis, the agricultural output price index in March 2014 was 4.8% lower than in March 2013. The agricultural input price index was down 5.7% in March 2014 compared with March 2013.
