Editorial - High-Level Requests to Help the Ailing Dairy Sectors in EU and US In the first quarter of 2009, milk deliveries in the EU were down on the previous year's levels but there has been a recovery in output since the start of the new quota year. EU output for the first two months increasing by one per cent. It appears that some producers are boosting output levels in an attempt to offset lower milk prices as feedstuffs drop in price.
