Mid-summer processing of spring-born beef calves is one of the highest return procedures available in the cattle business.
World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates
This report, released by the National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS), adopts U.S. area, yield, and production forecasts for winter wheat, durum, other spring wheat, barley, oats and also livestock, poultry and dairy.
UK Cattle Disease Quarterly Surveillance Report (to March 2008)
By the Veterinary Laboratories Agency - This report monitors trends in the major endemic cattle diseases. The report is compiled using disease data gathered by the network of VLA Regional Laboratories.
Bluetongue Protection Zone Keeps Expanding
UK - Defra has today announced that the Bluetongue Protection Zone will be extended again on Monday 14 July, following the delivery by Intervet of over 2 million additional doses of Bluetongue vaccine.
