US beef exports to the Caribbean maintained their upward momentum in January, following a record-breaking year in 2024.

According to data released by USDA and compiled by the US Meat Export Federation (USMEF), shipments rose 3% year-on-year to 2,757 metric tonnes, with export value climbing 18% to US$24.6 million.

The increase was driven by sustained demand from the Dominican Republic, the Bahamas, the Netherlands Antilles and Turks and Caicos—highlighting the region’s growing appetite for US beef products.
