By: US beef exports to South Korea totalled 18,080 mt in September, up slightly from a year ago, according to data released by USDA and compiled by the US Meat Export Federation (USMEF).
Value, meanwhile, climbed 10% to $175.5 million.
Korea is the leading value market for US beef exports. January-September shipments increased 2% from a year ago to $1.6 billion, despite a 10% decline in volume (169,145 mt).
