Beef consumption for 2025 is forecast to increase to 409,000 MT CWE, a nearly 2% increase from 2024, according to a recent US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Global Agricultural Information Network (GAIN) report

Economic and population growth in the Philippines will fuel broad consumption of food products including processed meat products and imported beef. While the Philippines economy is forecast to grow above 6% in both 2024 and 2025, inflation remains a primary concern for middle class consumers and that provides a ceiling on both beef consumption and potential import growth.
