Indonesia will invite private firms to contribute to President Prabowo Subianto's flagship programme of giving free meal to millions of students next year, including dairy companies, the national nutrition agency chief said on Monday.

Dadan Hindayana did not name the companies, but said the number of firms would be determined by the needs of the programme, which will start in January and is expected to cost Indonesia 71 trillion rupiah ($4.47 billion) in the first year.
