Russia: Milk sales from agricultural organisations increase
Sales rose 2.7% since last yearAccording to the operational data of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, as of 29 November, the daily volume of milk sales by agricultural organisations amounted to 48.03 thousand tons. This is up 2.7% (1.24 thousand tons) from the same period last year.
Maximum sales volumes have been achieved in the Republic of Tatarstan, Krasnodar Territory, Voronezh, Kirov, Sverdlovsk, Leningrad, Belgorod, Novosibirsk, Moscow regions, Udmurt Republic.
The average milk yield from one cow per day was 17.65 kg, which is 0.93 kg more than a year earlier. The leaders among the regions in this indicator are Leningrad, Kaliningrad, Penza, Lipetsk, Tula, Vladimir, Kirov, Kaluga, Belgorod, Vologda, Voronezh, Ryazan, Moscow, Sverdlovsk regions, Krasnodar Territory, Republic of Crimea, Republic of Karelia. In these regions, more than 20 kg of milk per cow was obtained.
