Australia releases its March 2020 Dairy Export Report

Year-to-date dairy exports contracted by over 8 percent but increased in value terms.

The Dairy Export Report shows financial year-to-date March 2020 decreased 8.2 percent in volume terms and increased 5.8 percent in value terms compared to March 2019 figures.

Other dairy products, other cheese and milk reported increases in volumes exported for financial year-to-date March 2020, increasing 25.1 percent, 4.5 percent and 4.0 percent respectively compared to March 2019.

Dairy Australia’s Dairy Export Report contains a monthly update on key Australian dairy exports. It reports data in volume (tonnes) and value (in AUD) terms for butter, butter oil, cheddar cheese, other cheese, milk, SMP, WMP and other dairy products.
