Cattle Bathing, Treatment Centre Inaugurated in Issyk-Kul Region
KYRGYZSTAN - The center for cattle treatment and bathing was inaugurated in the village of Teplokluchenka, Issyk-Kul region on 5 May, reports Turmush.Ak-Suu district governor Ulan Dokonbaev, Teplokluchenkv village governor Talant Kobonbaev, district council members, locals attended the ceremony.
“When I was Teplokluchenka governor, I remember the village had big problems with cattle bathing. Today I am very glad to see such center. We thank the pasture committee, rural municipality and Community Development and Investment Agency ARIS for that,” the governor said.
According to AKIpress, Mr Kobonbaev said the center was opened as part of Cattle Breeding Development Project.
The overall budget of the project amounted to 1.3 million soms, including 358,181 soms that were financed by the rural municipality.
“During discussion of animal husbandry situation, we identified the most critical problems. Those included bathing and medical treatment of animals. Now we have obtained this center, where veterinarians will work,” Mr Kobonbaev said.
Farmers of Telpokluchenka rural municipality are estaimted to have 25,000 heads of sheep and 3,600 heads of cows.
