Mexico Looking for New Markets for Surplus Milk
MEXICO - Mexico is looking to the markets of Central America and the Caribbean for opportunities to sell milk when a surplus occurs.Agriculture ministry (SAGARPA) livestock coordinator Francisco Gurria Trevino said that SAGARPA is committed to providing resources to solve recurring problems caused by surplus milk.
To do this, he said, three dairy drying plants are currently under construction, one in Aguascalientes and two in Jalisco.
