Multiple variations of the formula will exist for the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development scheme which aims to make farms more competitive through fair prices.

This was announced by the National Dairy Council which hoped to have a report on market indicators by 30 April.

This will contain proposals for formula adjustments.

Involved in the scheme were the Colombian Association of Milk Processors (Asoleche), the National Association of Colombia (ANDI), the Federation of Dairy Cooperatives (Fedeoleche), the National Milk Producers Association (Analac) and the National Federation of Livestock (Fedegan).
