Bluetongue Found in Imported Bosnia Cattle
BOSNIA and HERZEGOVINA – A cattle farm in northern Bosnia has confirmed Bluetongue in three unvaccinated cattle imported from Germany.This brings the number of European countries with the virus to nine.
The animals were serologically tested without showing clinical signs of the ‘not typed’ serotype of the virus, according to the World Organisation for Animal Health.
Quarantine and screening are being applied.
