Rosselkhoznadzor has announced that Norwegian guarantees, provided by Norwegian Food Safety Authority, Mattilsynet, are not satisfactory, reports Russia’s Dairy News.

Aleksey Alekseyenko, Rosselkhoznadzor representative, revealed the news, adding that Norwegian products could face embargoes.

Concerns arose when Mattilsynet did not bring joint electronic food certification and traceability systems into force following bi-lateral agreement.
