Agricultural Bank Finances Major projects in Kaluga Region
RUSSIA - The Russia agricultural bank, Rosselkhozbank, has signed a loan agreement with "Remputmash-Agro" to finance the largest investment project in the field of agro-industrial complex of the Kaluga region.In the Przemysl area the company is to build a 4000 head complex for which the agricultural bank will provide 2.2 billion rubles.
The loans will be spent on construction work, including two dairy farms with dairy and feed departments, granaries and other aspects of the project.
The investment will also see the purchase of cattle, special machines and equipment.
The project involves major construction logistics to organise the dairy industry, including the processing of milk and the production of feed and grain.
Commissioning is scheduled for late 2014.
In the first quarter of 2014 the first batch of breeding heifers Holsteins from the US, will be delivered to the complex.
After reaching full production capacity in 2015 the farm is expected to produce 30,000 tonnes of milk a year.
The complex will produce packaged milk, yogurt, sour cream, cottage cheese as well as meat cattle, canola oil.
The modern complex is being built using the latest engineering solutions and involves the use of advanced technologies for livestock production.
All processes on the farm will be using a special ERP-system Multifarm.
With the latest technology, the information collected and entered in the herd management programme for each farm is immediately transmitted over the Internet to a central computer, located at the centre for support and supply.
Support for investment projects related to the creation of modern enterprises applying high-performance technologies, is one of the priorities of Rosselkhozbank.
Kaluga Branch of JSC "Russian Agricultural Bank" has been cooperating with "Remputmash-Agro" for seven years, carrying out credit support for the current business venture - a dairy farm with 400 milking cows.
