The notification means that national state support will be 45 million crowns higher than last year.

Ministers have announced that the biggest sum of money will go into ‘improving the situation’ in pig and poultry, where they say it is most needed.

Agriculture Minister Miroslav Toman said: "A grant of 570 million crowns is being put into pig and poultry subsidy and bee keepers and growers."
