Flooding 2013 Resources

An extensive directory of general flood information is available at the Government of Alberta’s main website or by calling the Flood Information Line at 310-4455 (toll free).

Information that is specific to agriculture producers is also available on Agriculture and Rural Development’s website.

This includes information about how disaster recovery programs apply to agriculture operations, low interest loan programs, tips for farmers returning to their land after the flood, livestock carcass removal, what to do if you spot stray livestock, and what to do if your water well has flooded.

For questions regarding crop insurance claims and loan programs, contact Agriculture Financial Services Corporation (AFSC) through their call centre at 1-877-899-2372 or the AFSC website.
