Record Meat Exports for Paraguay
PARAGUAY - Paraguay's meat exports reached a record high of $993 million at end of November of 2012 and by 20 December were more than $1,050 million.

Paraguay exports 153,000 tonnes of beef to 39 countries with a value of $755 million, compared to 132,700 tonnes with a value of $706 million at the end of 2011.
Pig meat exports reached 956 tonnes with a value of $2 million compared to 56 tonnes valued at $210,000 in the same period in 2011.
Cattle offal exports to November last year also rose, reaching 19,200 tonnes at a value of $79 million. IN 2011 cattle offal exports were 17,500 tonnes with a value of $43 million.
Russia leads the countries buying Paraguayan meat with a volume of 108,500 tonnes valued at $538.7 million and Brazil is next with a volume of 20 300 tonnes worth $101.6 million.
