The document raises questions that Swedish Dairy farmers wish to have answered by the Minister. For the milk production to develop successfully the political climate in the country must be favourable say the farmers.

The dairying sector would like to see the government welcome policies and support systems that will promote the development of successful companies. There are concerns that the new CAP will do the opposite of this.

Mentioned in the document is the issue of passive and active farming and the claiming of CAP payments regardless of production. It is the view of the dairy leaders that passive farmers can not be made to benefit from support from not producing milk.
