Biomin India: Strong Presence at Local Trade Shows
INDIA - Kicking off in November, the annual Hyderabad Poultry Show is becoming widely recognised as the major event for the Indian poultry industry.Bringing together more than 180 exhibitors and close to 20,000 visitors, BIOMIN had a prime location at this event with a 36sqm booth at the front of the hall. Following-on from the highly successful Asia Nutrition Forum in the previous month, many visitors attended the BIOMIN booth to interact with our technical sales team on both a professional and social level. BIOMIN was supported on the booth with cooperation from its exclusive distribution partners in India.
The booth design, being a 3-side open concept, created a very welcoming atmosphere and attracted many customers with the comfortable seating area. On the second day, the "Prince of Indian Magic", SAC Vasanth, was brought onto the booth to host an afternoon of close-up magic and light hearted entertainment. This was received extremely well not only by those customers that enjoyed this entertainment at the recent Asia Nutrition Forum, but also for those customers that were not able to attend the ANF in Coimbatore. No doubt many are still in a state of bewilderment as to how a 500 INR note can be changed before their eyes to 100 INR.
During the 3-day event, many positive comments were received from our customers about the activities and professionalism of BIOMIN. "The expertise within our local sales team in India is being recognised and we are rapidly gaining momentum in terms of proving ourselves as a credible partner to our customers in India," said Edward Manchester, Regional Director South Asia of BIOMIN.
Following-on from the Hyderabad Poultry Show, BIOMIN India then moved up to Karnal in Haryana state for the IAI Expo. This event is also proving itself as a major show for the north India customers, and additionally, this year attracted an increasing presence from other areas of India as well as a growing international delegation.
BIOMIN India participated with a 12sqm booth, being supported by Dr Sujit Kulkarni, Sales Director for BIOMIN India and Mr Manchester. The exclusive distribution partner for North India, Mr Manoj Garg of MG Marketing also supported the booth with his active participation over the 3-day event. "Being present with our own booth at this IAI Expo in Karnal really allowed us to interact closely with our growing customer base in North India," said Dr Kulkarni. "We are fully committed to expanding our business within Northern India, and in the coming weeks will also be announcing some exciting plans that fit within this strategy," explained Dr Kulkarni.
BIOMIN India looks forward to supporting future trade events in the local market and will again be welcoming customers to their stand at VIV India in Bangalore, February 2012.
