There was keen interest in proven bulls from all the main beef and dairy breeds as well as enquiries for beef breeding stock and dairy heifers from new markets in Eastern European countries and regular customers throughout the EU.

Sheep and goat genetics were in demand from countries as far afield as Angola, Israel and Italy, as well as the host country.

The biennial Eurotier exhibition boasts more than 1750 trade stands from 45 countries and attracts a worldwide audience of around 130,000 visitors from 65 countries.

British livestock exhibitors at the show were supported by EBLEX, the British Livestock Genetics Consortium, and the Livestock and Meat Commission for Northern Ireland, with Government funding from UK Trade and Investment.
