GB Veterinary Associations meet at AFBI Laboratories
UK - Officers of the British Veterinary Association (BVA), North of Ireland Veterinary Association (NIVA), Association of Veterinary Surgeons Practising in Northern Ireland (AVSPNI) and the Northern Ireland region of the British Small Animal Veterinary Association (BSAVA-NI) met recently at the Veterinary Sciences Division (VSD) of AFBI.

Dr Seamus Kennedy, Director of VSD, welcomed the guests and outlined the extensive track record and broad platform of work carried out by the Institute.
The officers were also given the opportunity to explore some of the topical disease response work of the division through a series of short presentations delivered by Dr Sam McCullough (Bluetongue virus & epidemiology) and Dr Robin Skuce, Dr Michael Welsh and Dr Jim McNair (bovine TB diagnostics, research & epidemiology).
