Focus on meat and milk quality and price
UK - MEAT and milk quality, price and delivery will be the three main topics for debate at the British Cattle Breeders' Club annual conference next month.

International speakers will feature at the conference in Hawkestone Park Hotel near Shrewsbury on January 22 to 24, delivering a total of 24 papers from policy makers, scientists and farmers. The speakers include Kim Matthews, Meat and Livestock Commission scientist, on beef quality measures, Paul Allen, from Dublin, on visual image analysis, Eric Venot, from France, on the interbeef project and Marjorie Faust from the United States on breeding for the dairy herd. The British Livestock Genetics group will hold a seminar on exports and there will be a discussion on world trade issues.
