US - Iowa Experts say Iowa needs to come up with a way to monitor water use, especially with the boom in ethanol, livestock and other industries.According to the Minnesota-based Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy, it takes three-to-four gallons of water to make one gallon of ethanol.
