Cattle Prices Down, Grain Prices Up in November
US - Prices received by Wisconsin farmers for corn and soybeans averaged $3.00 per bushel in mid-November, a jump of 55 cents from the price in October.

The Wisconsin Ag Statistics Service says this was the highest monthly corn price in over ten years, and the highest November price in over twenty years. The U.S. price was up 58 cents to $3.12 per bushel as prices rose in every state.
The Wisconsin soybean price rose to $5.85 in November, an increase of 42 cents from October. The U.S. average price increased 63 cents to $6.15 per bushel. Wisconsin's mid-November oat price was $2.00 per bushel, up 16 cents from October. This is the highest monthly price for Wisconsin in over ten years.
The price for alfalfa in Wisconsin continues to be the lowest in the nation, but did increase in November. The average price received for a ton of alfalfa in Wisconsin was $55.00, an increase of five dollars from October. The U.S. price fell $3.00 to $109.00 per ton.
