Field reps to help industry with age verification

CANADA - The Canadian Cattle Identification Agency, through a partnership with Alberta Agriculture, has hired seven Mobile Field Representatives to assist in a variety of initiatives, including Age Verification education and assistance in the province of Alberta.

Tracy Gardner, CCIA Technical Field Specialist explains that, "these seven CCIA representatives will act as liaisons between industry and staff for the purpose of increasing awareness of CCIA programs and technologies".

Gardner adds, "They will be available to assist with the use and selection of Radio Frequency Identification readers, software and assist with value-added programs such as Age Verification. In addition, they will help organize and facilitate producer meetings and assure ongoing producer education."
