Cargill suspended production at a beef plant in Dodge City, Kansas, on Monday after weekend rains caused part of the roof to collapse, Reuters reported, citing the company.

The meat processor is working with structural engineers to stabilise the roof and implement contingency plans to resume operations as soon as possible, according to an emailed statement.
