Belarus Expects to Earn $2m on Breeding Cattle Export

BELARUS - Belarus expects that the export of breeding stock will reach $2 million by the end of the year, Belarus Deputy Agriculture and Food Minister Igor Brylo said in an interview with the Belarus 1 TV channel on 7 July.

Igor Brylo noted that Belarusian cattle is commercially successful outside the country. Major sales markets are Russia, Georgia, and Kazakhstan.

The volume of exports has already reached approximately $500,000 since the beginning of the year.

"We are planning to export $2 million worth of breeding stock by the end of the year," he said.
