Iran, Russia to Invest in Livestock Vaccine Production

IRAN - A livestock vaccine production unit will be built in Semnan Province in cooperation with Russia, director general of the province’s veterinary organization said.

Mohammad Saeedi added that €10 million worth of investment are required to carry out the project, 25 per cent of which will be provided by the Russian side, Mehr News Agency reported.

According to Financial Tribune, he said: "We plan to start constructing the vaccine production unit in the current [Iranian] year (March 2018-19) and it is estimated that the project will come on stream within three years."

He also added that the production unit will create 100 direct and some 300 indirect jobs.
