First Milk Confirms Price Increases for December
UK - First Milk, a major dairy company, has confirmed an increase in prices in December.

The announced increase in prices are as follows:
- Midlands & East Wales pool increases by 2.50ppl
- All other Cheese pools plus Liquid & Cheese pools will increase by 2.00ppl
Chairman Clive Sharpe said, "We have continued confidence that our milk price will increase further during the first quarter of 2017. Since June, the average price increase across our main milk pools is over 8 ppl. These increases reflect both the improved market returns and the accelerating improvements in our own business.
"The additional increase for the Midlands and East Wales pool is the result of securing a new brokerage customer. We are also pursuing further opportunities with other customers in the area."
