Global Dairy Trade Prices Down
GLOBAL - The Global Dairy Trade (GDT) price index has fallen by 2.9 per cent at the latest auction.

The average price reached at the event was $2,190 (USD/MT, FAS).
Prices rose at the previous GDT event, but prior to that prices had not risen since before Christmas.
Skimmed Milk Powder prices fell by 2.5 per cent, and Whole Milk Powder prices fell by 0.8 per cent.
Butter prices fell by 2.8 per cent, whilst cheddar prices fell by 5.6 per cent.
