The 66 hectare ‘dairy zone’ has seen Dutch and Vietnamese partner up with the goal of creating jobs and reducing milk imports through a Facility for Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Food Security.

When complete, FC expects the zone to be producing at least seven million kilos of fresh milk per year and employing 345 people.

A spokesperson for FC said: “The plan includes the establishment of eight more dairy farms in the 66-hectare dairy zone by the end of 2018, in addition to the two pilot farms already established.”
