FMD Outbreaks Reported in East Kazakhstan
KAZAKHSTAN - Kazakhstan has reported two further outbreaks of foot and mouth disease in its eastern regions, affecting cattle and sheep.The World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) received Follow-up Report No. 8 on Monday, 30 July.
Out of 1040 susceptible cattle, 721 cases were reported. All 721 affected animals were destroyed.
The source of the outbreaks remains inconclusive.
