OIE: Further FMD Cases Reported in Taipei
TAIWAN - Four new cases of Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) have been reported to the OIE by Dr Kwo-Ching Huang, Chief Veterinary Officer and Deputy Director General, Taipei.
The new outbreak was recorded at Erlin Township, Chang-Hua.
The outbreak affected only four of the 3055 pigs susceptible. No deaths have been reported.
The source of the outbreak is still unknown.
