The World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) received follow-up report no. 13 on Friday, 4 March. The affected population consists of swine herds.

A total of 1878 animals showed signs of susceptibility to the disease. A total of seven cases were identified. All susceptible animals were destroyed.

Although the source of all outbreaks remains inconclusive, some of the outbreaks previously reported were resolved.

The number of culled animals (as part of disease control) in the newly affected farms depends on the vaccination status and timing. The final count of culled animals will be definitively given in the future.
