Imports Of Beef From EU

RUSSIA - Russia has opened the markets to a number of EU beef products, following the closure after BSE.

As of 29th April 2010, Russia will allow the imports of the following products:

  • boneless beef obtained from cattle examined for BSE after slaughter, older than 30 months, from Ireland and Spain;
  • bone-in beef obtained from cattle examined for BSE after slaughter, older than 30 months, and boneless beef obtained from cattle examined for BSE after slaughter, older than 48 months, from the Federal Republic of Germany, Italy and France;
  • boneless beef obtained from cattle not examined for BSE, and bone-in beef obtained from cattle examined for BSE after slaughter, older than 48 months, from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Hungary, Greece, Denmark, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Finland, Czech Republic, Sweden, Estonia.
